Our commitment to the environment
Climate change is one of the biggest, global challenges of our time. At Zakumi we believe every person, every community and every organisation has a role to play in taking care of our environment and building a sustainable future. Our work with community organisations and our commitment to the environment overlaps in many ways. Small to medium sized community organisations have a lot to teach others about sustainability and reducing environmental footprints. Often these organisations are locally based, draw their resources from their own communities and develop ways to share these resources(time, staff, volunteers, buildings, etc).
