Our approach to working with teams is simple. No team is the same! We use a number of evidence based techniques depending on the circumstances of the team to meet agreed outcomes. We work with newly created and established teams of volunteers, Boards, senior managers, customers and front line practitioners in ways that assist to measure their effectiveness, understand their operating environments and enhance the way they operate.


All teams consist of people working in many ways, need to continually establish and sustain trust, understand how to work with each other, how to accept differences and do this in the context that they will be jointly responsible for leading the way for their organisation or Program.

Striving to create a functional, cohesive team is one of the few remaining competitive advantages available to any organisation looking for a powerful point of differentiation. Functional teams avoid wasting time talking about incorrect or irrelevant issues and revisiting the same topics over and over again because of lack of buy-in. Functional teams also make higher quality decisions and accomplish more in less time and with less distraction and frustration. Additionally, people rarely leave organisations where they are part of a cohesive team (Lencioni).
